Development laptop with a 2 million won budget: what's the right choice?

I'm changing jobs and planning to buy a new laptop. Budget is around 2 million won.

Requirements:

32GB RAM (16GB is not enough because of Docker)
Good driver support when installing Linux
Weight under 1.5kg

I keep going back and forth between MacBook Pro and ThinkPad. The company uses Mac, but I want to use Linux at home. If anyone has used both, I'd appreciate your advice.

One vote for the ThinkPad T14 Gen5. If you don't want to stress over Linux drivers, you eventually converge on a ThinkPad.

If you're planning to install Linux on a MacBook, doesn't that defeat the purpose of buying a MacBook? You use a Mac at work, so there's no need to have one at home too. Setting "good Linux driver support" as your top priority and then considering a MacBook seems a bit contradictory. I think you should just go with a ThinkPad.
