Battery Life Feels Better After Galaxy Update
I updated yesterday, and when watching YouTube, the heat dropped a lot. My phone is two years old, so I'm not trying to put it down, but I'm satisfied with this.
However, the camera app feels a bit slower on first launch? That might just be my imagination.

Good to hear the overheating has decreased, but the slower first launch of the camera is a bit concerning; I’d been putting off the update, but after seeing the comments, I’m considering it now.
On a two-year-old phone, the battery itself is probably starting to wear out, so the update might only feel half as effective. Check your battery cycle count.
Well, how can you be sure the heat actually decreased? Perceived differences are often just placebo, so I think you'd need to reboot once and compare to really know.
