If it's thyroid, don't be too scared right away. It progresses very slowly and has a good prognosis, so there's a high chance you'll just have an ultrasound + fine-needle aspiration again at a big hospital. I also have a nodule and have only been doing follow-up observation for 5 years now, with no issues.
Agreed, but being told to go to a big hospital is definitely a sign.
Got a source? The important part is what they saw at which hospital that made your expression harden. If the report lists things like nodule size or a TI-RADS score, at least upload that.
