At our school, there was a controversy after students were caught using ChatGPT for assignments.
The professor said, 'If you use AI, cite your sources,' but the students argued, 'What's the problem if it helps us search and organize information?'
I think it's fine to use AI for drafting and then revise it yourself. The issue is when AI completely replaces the work.
But since AI detection technology will keep improving, in the end, we probably need more education on 'how to use it' rather than just banning it.
