Everyone’s cheering the rate cut news, but I have mixed feelings
The headlines make it sound like everything’s getting better, but when I look at my own bank account, not much has actually changed.
Savings and deposit rates are going down, while loan rates are slow to follow. Home prices have already risen about as much as they can, so buying now feels scary. And I don’t have the guts to go all-in on stocks either.
In the end, rate news is mostly about how the big players are setting up their moves, and for regular people, it’s probably best to just focus on their own cash flow. How are you all handling it?

Agreed, I really relate to this. Every time the news comes out, it feels like everyone except me is doing better.
Deposit and savings rates go down right away, but why are loan rates so slow to come down? lol That’s just something the banks decide on their own, I guess.
