I had high expectations for the drama because I thoroughly enjoyed Liu Cixin's original novel.
Pros: The visual effects and acting were excellent. In particular, the 1960s background scenes captured the atmosphere of the original well.
Cons: There is a lot of story compression, so parts may be hard to understand if you haven't read the novel. The integration of characters simplifies the complex relationships of the original.
Overall, the drama is not bad on its own, but as a fan of the original, I felt a sense of disappointment.
