What laptop should I buy? I've only used MacBooks

I'm planning to buy a Windows laptop, but I have no clue. Budget is around 1.5 million won.

Maybe because I've used MacBooks for 7 years, I can't compare specs... It's for development—what would be good?

For development, RAM is the answer. If it’s 150, buy one specced with 32GB. Honestly, the rest is just personal preference.

I also used a MacBook for 8 years and switched to Windows last year, and the first two months I really regretted it lol. But once I got used to it, I actually liked it more. If I had to give tips: 1) 32GB RAM, no question, 2) at least 1TB SSD, 3) if it weighs more than 1.5kg, it gets hard to carry around. If you just get these three right, the rest of the specs are honestly all pretty similar. If you install WSL2, you can use a Linux environment almost as-is, so you can keep your Mac habits. As for the brand, just go with one that has good after-sales service.

Wait, if it's for development and the budget is 150, wouldn't a MacBook be the better choice? The M-chip Air is in that price range, and considering performance and battery life, I'm not sure why you'd go with Windows. Unless you have to use some Windows-only tool, is there really any reason to switch? Honestly, I'm just asking out of curiosity.
