Something I feel every time I watch the news
When a story breaks, conclusions come out within a day, and a week later it's all been overturned. I guess the answer is just to take it slow.

Facts, it's ridiculous how they jump to conclusions in just one day every time I see it lol

But when I take my time going through things, I find out about stuff everyone already knows way later than everyone else lol. That’s a bit unfair.

So I just read initial coverage as nothing more than “someone claimed this.” On the day itself, I only take in confirmed facts, and I tend to revisit it when prosecutors or police make an announcement or a court ruling comes out. Before that, reading it just drains your emotions. Seriously.
