I used to only play LoL, but recently started Valorant and hit Silver in 3 weeks. How far have you guys climbed in rank? My goal now is Gold, but I wonder if just practicing aim will be enough.
Silver in 3 weeks is pretty fast lol. It took me over a month.
If you're Silver, isn't that still the beginner stage? The real game starts at Gold.
Agreed. Next, let's play.
You can't hit Gold just by practicing aim. Aim matters, but agent mastery and positioning matter more. I ranked up after practicing holding angles that force fights.
I came over from playing LoL and can't get out of Bronze lol. Silver already means you've got some sense. Gold seems totally achievable.
Actually, people say the overall Silver level has gone up compared to before, so even if you hit Silver, it's hard to get recognized for your skill. Still, doing it in 3 weeks is impressive.
Practicing aim won't dramatically improve your skill, but if your fundamentals are lacking, repetitive training does help. However, without a good understanding of the game, you'll hit a ceiling.
Well, that seems a bit different. In my case, I was obsessed with aim early on, and my game sense just dropped. Since it's a team game, aren't callouts and support more important?
