After failing 5 interviews, I actually feel relieved
At first, every time I got rejected, I'd lie in bed all day. Now I just go, 'Oh, rejected again,' and immediately check the next job posting lol
Getting used to this is scary...

Facts, adapting is seriously scary lol. At first, even one text would wreck me, but now when a notification comes in, I just go "oh, again" and keep eating.
But that’s being numb—it’s a bit different from feeling unburdened, isn’t it... I only realized this after failing more than 20 times: it wasn’t that I wasn’t hurting, but that I’d lost the strength to feel the pain. Even if you look okay now, it can blow up badly all at once, so at least once a week, set aside a day where you just do nothing. That’s the real shield.
If it's 5 times, how many months have you been grinding at this? I only started seeing my resume pass rate and interview question patterns after failing 12 times over 3 months. Have you tried writing down the characteristics of the companies that rejected you? Surprisingly, a pattern emerged where I kept getting stuck at the same places, and once I fixed that, my odds shot way up.
Well, that’s a bit much. Isn’t it less that you’ve adapted and more that you’ve just gone numb? If you stay like that for a few more months, you’ll see the next job posting and feel nothing, and you won’t even apply. You need at least one person you can open up to.
Oh, I didn’t know this. I’m at exactly that stage right now, so I was confused about whether this is growth or paralysis, but reading the comments helped me sort it out a bit.
