Why is team luck so brutal in Valorant ranked?

Lost 5 in a row yesterday and won 2 in a row today, but my rank hasn't moved... Makes me wonder if the game can really go this badly just from getting bad teams. I keep practicing my aim, so why is ranked like this lol
