Launched My Side Project in 3 Months, But Zero Traffic
After grinding on it after work and every weekend, I finally shipped it. Next.js with Supabase, and Toss Payments for checkout. It took 3 months to build, but a week after launch, visitors are still in the single digits lol.
Building it was fun, but I’ve learned the hard way that that’s when the real work begins. I posted in a few communities, but with no response, I don’t even know what to fix.
If anyone has experience with getting initial traffic after launch, I’d love some advice.

Shipping in 3 months is seriously fast. But honestly, user acquisition isn't a coding problem... From the maker's perspective, every feature feels necessary, but first-time visitors bounce immediately if they can't figure out why they should use it within 3 seconds. Does the landing page have one sentence saying what the service does? Start with that.
If you just post in a community, it looks like an ad and everyone ignores it lol. I went to places where my target users actually hang out, replied to their posts about their concerns, and naturally mentioned it in the process. It’s the most exhausting approach, but it definitely works.
