A Small Way I Cut Down on Coffee Expenses
The cafe near my office charged 5,500 won for an Americano, so I just switched to the office coffee beans. I ended up saving about 80,000 won a month.

Agreed—I also switched to the office coffee two years ago.
5500 won is really too much lol—even budget coffee franchises are 1500 won
I made a similar switch, and since I drink two cups a day, it added up to a difference of over 100,000 won a month. At first, grinding beans and washing up was such a hassle that I just made it half-heartedly for a few days, but once I got into the habit of brewing it in advance and carrying it in a tumbler, it actually saved me the time of going to a cafe, so I'm satisfied. That said, if you use cheap beans, the taste drops off a lot, so in the end, finding decent value-for-money beans was the most important thing.
