Lost 5 Solo Queue Games in a Row and Quit
I don't want to chalk it up to team luck, but seriously, this just isn't right. We were holding it together well for over 20 minutes, and then in the last teamfight the jungler went off alone somewhere. I debated for 10 seconds whether to queue another game, then just shut it off.

I agree, it's so tilting when one teamfight throws the entire game.
A five-game losing streak is pretty rough, sure... but honestly, if you're only going to blame the jungler for the last game, shouldn't you also take a look at your own lane? When I watch replays, it's surprisingly often your own positioning that's the problem. I also got demoted once back in the day while going on about my team luck being dogshit, but looking back, more than half of those games were ones where I didn't control vision, got caught out alone, and threw the game. Of course, the jungler leaving during a teamfight is clear trolling, and that deserves all the flame.
So I've never seen anyone who said they were quitting League and didn't come back lol.
Got a source?
Quitting after thinking about it for 10 seconds was the right call. If you queue one more game while on a losing streak, it almost always goes even worse. Once I realized that, I started shutting the game off and going for a walk from the second loss in a row. It really works. The next day, I don't even really wonder why that jungler did what they did.
Well, saying you carried it well is from your own perspective. From the opponent’s side, they might have just been barely hanging on before turning it around in a teamfight. Failing to close out after being ahead for 20 minutes also suggests that your objective control was lacking.
Same here. I lost 5 in a row and turned it off, then turned it back on the next day and lost again ㅠㅠ
