Steam Summer Sale is insane this year, what should I buy?
My wallet is in danger lol. As soon as the summer sale started, I added over 10 games to my cart, but I can't buy them all.
The games I'm considering right now are:
- Cyberpunk 2077 (Is it different from before the refund fiasco?)
- Elden Ring (Should I give up because it's hard?)
- Baldur's Gate 3 (I've never played it, will it take a lot of time?)
- Doom Eternal (I want to buy it, but I don't have good headshot aim)
Please recommend. My preferred genres are action RPG or FPS. Also tell me whether it's better to get the DLC as well, or to just start with the base game.

Agreed, this is the best ever lol, but I gotta protect my wallet.
Cyberpunk is completely different now from the refund debacle. After the 2.0 patch, it became a complete game, and the Phantom Liberty DLC is a masterpiece too. If you just buy the base game and try it out, and you like it, it's enough to go for the DLC.
Well, 'all-time best' is a bit much, isn't it? Isn't it similar to the summer sale every year? And don't just look at the discount percentage—check the refund policy too.
Elden Ring is fun even if it's hard—don't give up. Just think of dying as part of the game lol.
Baldur's Gate 3 really eats up your time. Once you start, it's a solid 100 hours minimum, and if it's your first open-world RPG, it'll take even longer. Still, you might just find the game of a lifetime, so I'd recommend it.
Play the main game first lol. You can just get the DLC later when it's on sale.
It's fine if you don't have good headshot aim. Rather, the shotgun + grappling hook combo is insanely fun, though it can be overwhelming at first. I played through to the ending and didn't buy the DLC, but the base game alone was enough.
