What's going on with Claude AI's free tier all of a sudden?
They've limited it to 5 uses per hour. I used it twice in the morning and immediately got hit with the rate limit lol.
Should I actually pay? But since I don't know what plans are coming next month, maybe it's better to wait a bit.

I've been having the same issue since yesterday... it got stuck after a few tries this morning. But I think it's too early to go paid. There's also a rumor that the plan will change next month. I think it's better to hold on and keep using it a bit longer. Or maybe try some other AI models too.
Well, that's a bit... Wasn't the free tier always like this? There's been a per-minute limit for a long time. I don't think it's "why all of a sudden"—it's been that way from the start.

That annoys me too. But waiting seems to be the answer. Anyway, even if you pay now, when a new plan comes out next month, you'll want to switch again, right? Just be a little patient.

Honestly, isn't the free tier limit only natural? Server maintenance costs must be no joke. If anything, I'm just grateful they give up to 5 times. As for the paid tier, it's not too late to decide after using it a bit more. Paying urgently now might lead to regrets.
