iPad Note-Taking vs. Paper Note-Taking: The Productivity Difference
I'm a college student and I'm considering buying an iPad Air. All my friends take notes with GoodNotes, but I still find paper more comfortable. However, I've heard that having an iPad makes it easier to organize materials and search through them. For those of you who actually study with an iPad, has your productivity increased significantly? Or is it just the gear hype?

I think I'm half and half. Using an iPad for note-taking makes organizing and reviewing easier, which helps during exam periods, but on a regular basis, I find paper better for grasping concepts. I'd recommend using both together.
I think it's 100% about the gear. I bought an iPad but ended up going back to paper. Handwriting on familiar paper helps me concentrate better and remember things longer. Apps like GoodNotes are just tools in the end.
I use an iPad Air, and I definitely notice the difference in productivity. It saves me a lot of time, especially when doing assignments—being able to pull up references while taking notes or marking up PDFs directly is really convenient. But if you prefer the feel of paper, applying a paper-like screen protector is also an option.
