A Review from Someone Who Switched from iPhone to Galaxy
After using an iPhone for 10 years, I switched to Galaxy this time. To get straight to the point, I'm still adjusting.
The good parts are, of course, customization and multitasking. Split screen and floating windows are genuinely convenient. The downside is, of course, the ecosystem—since it doesn't integrate with AirPods or MacBook, that's the most inconvenient part.
In the end, people are creatures of adaptation, so after about two weeks, I'm getting used to it again. I still don't know what I'll use for my next phone.

If you've got AirPods and a MacBook, wouldn't it just make sense to use an iPhone too? lol. Talk about a half-hearted adaptation.
Agreed — Galaxy truly dominates when it comes to customization.
I’m the exact opposite case—I used a Galaxy for 8 years and then switched to iPhone. The first month was pure hell. I kept getting confused by the back gesture, and moving files got blocked every time I tried to do anything. But the funny thing is, after about 2 weeks my brain reset. Now I don’t even remember my Galaxy days. In the end, a phone is something your hands remember, so as long as you’re not tied into an ecosystem, it doesn’t seem to matter what you use.
I get that split-screen is nice, but do you actually use it often on your phone? I have the feature, but I never find a use for it.

Whenever the ecosystem discussion comes up, it always ends the same way: if you use multiple devices, the answer is to unify them. I came back because of AirPods and iPad. Galaxy itself was really good. Multitasking, Samsung Pay, and the satisfaction of tidying up notifications were especially great. The problem is that if you're halfway dipped into the Apple ecosystem, at some point the inconvenience piles up and you eventually can't take it anymore. Since you're agonizing over your next phone, be careful lol
