The Difference Drinking a Glass of Water Right After Waking Up Made
After a health checkup last year, I was told I wasn't drinking enough water, so I started drinking 500ml of water on an empty stomach every morning.
Three months in, I've noticed some definite changes.
- Constipation has almost disappeared (this is the biggest change)
- Skin problems have decreased
- No more dizziness in the morning, and my concentration has improved
It's nothing special, so I'm not trying to brag, but if you weren't doing it before, you'll really see the benefits. However, if you have a weak stomach, it's better to start with a small amount and gradually increase.

Yeah, I also drink water in the morning—it's definitely good for constipation.
Well, I didn't feel any effect even when I drank water... Isn't that just individual differences?
Oh, this is true. I've been drinking 300ml of lukewarm water every morning for a year now, and my skin problems have decreased and my stomach feels better. However, cold water does seem to put strain on the stomach.
If you have a weak stomach, start with a really small amount and drink it lukewarm. I also initially drank 500ml at once, but it upset my stomach, so I cut it down to half.
Isn't it just a mood thing? There's no scientific basis.
It's a good habit, but if 500ml feels like too much, you can split it into 200ml portions and it still works. Personally, I wouldn't recommend starting with a large amount.
