Ugh, I really can't focus these days

Maybe it's because I work from home, but I feel like I get less than two hours of real focus a day lol

I'm not even on my phone, but I keep just opening 30 tabs. Is this a disorder?

True, lately I can't stick with anything for more than 30 minutes.

30 tabs is a bit much lol, but you can’t close them because the moment you do, you might need them again. I’m not the only one, right?

I think it’s less because I work from home and more because my environment just doesn’t change. I set a timer for 25 minutes of focus and 5-minute breaks, and it definitely helped. But during those 5 minutes, I never look at my phone. If you look at your phone, it’s over.

Well, that's a bit... If you're blaming it on working from home, it'd be the same at the office, you know? It's not the environment—it's just a habit.

Oh man, I totally relate to this. When I was working at a company, someone was watching me, so I’d force myself to stay seated, but at home my posture falls apart and my brain keeps wandering. I managed to deal with it a bit by tidying up around my desk and separating my browser profiles.

I'm not even looking at my phone, but I've got 30 tabs open ← This is literally me, why did they write that there?

Not organizing your tabs isn’t really a focus problem so much as a lingering “I’ll get to it someday” attachment. If you dump all of that into bookmarks and get into the habit of only pulling them out when you need them, it makes a pretty big difference. That’s how I fixed it, too.

But two hours a day isn’t bad, right? If it’s two hours of real focus, that’s probably top-tier haha
