I Just Saw a Movie and Can't Stop Thinking About the Ending

Right up until the end credits rolled, I was like, "What?" But on the way home, it suddenly clicked. I thought, so this is what a good movie is like.

They didn’t say what movie it was, so now I’m even more curious lol

For real, that 'puzzle pieces falling into place on the way home' feeling is so good.

I feel the same way. A while back, after watching a movie, I spent three days mulling over one scene, and that’s when I realized—the real appreciation begins after the movie ends.

Well, I'm not sure it's necessarily a good movie. Constantly thinking about it because you don't understand it and thinking about it because it lingers with you are completely different things. If it's the former, it might just be that the direction failed to explain things.

If a movie has that moment when everything clicks, it usually means it set up its foreshadowing well. When you rewatch it later, you notice all the things planted early on, and it becomes twice as fun. If you have time, I definitely recommend rewatching it.

Ah, but sometimes it’s surprisingly tiring to keep mulling over the ending lol. I prefer it when things just wrap up cleanly.
