Treasure Found at a Used Bookstore in Sillim-dong Today

I stumbled into a used bookstore and found 80s computer magazines and programming books. The DOS-era BASIC code and illustrations are so retro, lol. I even picked up an assembly language book and bought them all.

The owner boasted that these books from the 90s are in great condition. Back home, flipping through them, the smell of age hits you. I'm slowly turning pages, lost in nostalgia.

Anyone else into this kind of thing? Looking for someone to study retro programming books together!

Agreed, the retro vibes are insane.

Wow, I'm really jealous... I used to play around with DOSBox emulating an 8086 back in the day, lol.

Well, if you look at those books now, the content is too outdated to be helpful for actual coding. Aren't they just for collecting?

Oh, I have a few similar books too—mind if we study together? But honestly, I find assembly more fun than BASIC.

Do you have a source? It's amazing that something like that is still left in a real used bookstore.

I remember buying a 90s C language book from Aladdin Used Bookstore a while back, and when I opened it, the pages were soaked in cigarette smoke smell, so I threw it away right away. You're lucky, lol. Still, I gotta admit the retro vibe.
