Saw this on the subway today... I guess people really aren't afraid of other people
During rush hour on Line 2, the ahjussi sitting next to me had his mask pulled all the way down to his chin, and from his mouth—which looked like he'd just brushed his teeth—smell was just pouring out lol. Especially since it's barely been a while since COVID ended, everyone's walking around without masks, but I found out for the first time that the mask was actually blocking that smell.
The woman standing across from me was just staring at her phone with a look of disgust, and I also turned my head toward the window and got off, feeling regret. Honestly, the smell of a person is what people can tolerate the least.

Haha, right, the mask was a smell filter.
I've had a hard time with people's bad breath on my commute too... especially when the windows are closed on the bus, it's truly suffocating. The smell carried by the AC seems to be the worst.
Well, that's just that guy not brushing his teeth—what's that got to do with the mask? Not everyone smells just because they took off their mask. Don't overgeneralize.
The smell of people is the worst, lol. Especially the subway ventilation really sucks.
