These Days, Instead of Playing Games, I Just Watch YouTube
My Steam library has over 200 games, but I don't actually launch any of them. I wonder if I'm just buying them for the fun of buying.

Steam sale = the game of buying games. That's the golden rule, right?
I have over 300 games too, but I doubt I've actually finished even 20 of them. I used to boot up a new game right after buying it, but these days I just install it and put YouTube on. It feels like starting has become a hassle? I look for something I can enjoy in short bursts, but end up on YouTube anyway.
200 is a bit much lol, try sorting out your unplayed games.
Well, we probably need to first distinguish whether it's a matter of taste or just burnout. It's not that games have stopped being fun—isn't it that your brain has gotten conditioned to instant stimulation? I'm the same way, and YouTube is often the cause.
Here's the fix. Clear out your wishlist, turn off sale notifications, pick exactly one game from your library, and commit to "just this one this week." When there are too many options, your brain can't decide and just bails. That's how I've actually managed to see a few endings.

I'm the opposite—if I'm watching YouTube and see a game that looks fun, I buy it and start playing right away. But even then, I quit after 30 minutes... In the end, I think the biggest problem is that my content consumption habits themselves have gotten shorter.
