Air purifier recommendations for the bad fine dust these days
I haven't been able to open the windows for days because of the fine dust. I have one air purifier at home, but it's old and seems to have lost performance. My apartment is about 20 pyeong (approx. 66 sqm). Could you recommend a good value air purifier? I'm considering Xiaomi, Cuckoo, or Winia. I'd also appreciate it if you could let me know the filter replacement costs.

The fine dust is really bad, isn't it... I had the same concern, but I ended up buying a Xiaomi. For a 20-pyeong space, bigger is better, so I recommend going one size up. You only need to replace the filter once a year, and the cost is low, so I'm satisfied.
I use a Cuckoo, and the filter replacement cycle is long with decent performance. However, the initial cost is a bit high, making it more expensive than Xiaomi, but it has the advantage of good after-sales service.
I recommend Xiaomi air purifiers. For a space around 20 pyeong, the Air Dog 2 or Pro model should be sufficient, and filter replacement costs are low at around 20,000 to 30,000 won. It's easy to manage via the app, making it the best value for money.
What about Winia? I used one before and the filter replacement cost was around 50,000 to 60,000 won. But older models tend to be a bit noisy, so it might be better to look into the latest version.
I was torn between Cuckoo and Winia, but I ended up choosing Cuckoo. The filter replacement cost is about 40,000 to 50,000 won per year, and I'm satisfied with the air quality measurement feature. However, note that there is some noise.
