Ah, I bought that too, but it made me look greasy so I used it once and threw it out lol. The scent is too strong.
If it's hives, it's just an allergy. Check the ingredient list for fragrance or surfactants.

For foam cleansers, whether it’s mildly acidic matters more than cleansing power, but everyone just focuses on how well it lathers. If you get hives, stop using it immediately and apply only a soothing cream. After I switched to a gentle one, I was fine within a month.
