Quick Thoughts on Three Books I Read Recently

Things I read bit by bit on my commute.

The first was an SF short story collection, and it lingered with me longer than I expected. The second was a self-help book—half of it was obvious and half was actually useful lol. The third was an essay collection, and it was nice to read without thinking too much.

Lately I haven't been able to get into thick novels. What are you all reading these days? Any recommendations?
