Coffee's gotten too expensive, so I've started brewing at home
Coffee prices have gone up so much. An americano costs 5,000 won, and adding syrup brings it to 6,000 won... After realizing I was spending about 150,000 won a month, I started doing pour-over at home last year. With 200g of beans costing around 15,000 won, I can cover a month's worth of coffee. Plus, the brewing process is fun, and the taste is just as good as what you'd get at a café. For those of you who enjoy coffee at home, could you recommend some beans?

I started brewing coffee at home for similar reasons, and it's really economical while also becoming a great hobby. If I were to recommend a coffee bean, try the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe from 'Coffee &'. It has a smooth acidity and subtle floral aroma, making it perfect for hand drip. At around 12,000 won for 200g, it's also good value for money.
It's impressive that you started hand drip! I use an espresso machine at home, and I've definitely noticed savings on coffee beans. Personally, I recommend 'Terra Rosa' blend beans. They have a nutty flavor and good body, perfect for recreating that café Americano feel. But spending 150,000 won a month on coffee is quite a lot—you're going to save a ton!
I recently got into hand drip coffee too, and I find the brewing process surprisingly therapeutic. I highly recommend the Guatemala beans from 'Bean Brothers'—they have a subtle chocolate aroma, making for a sweet and enjoyable cup. But I have a question: how do you adjust the water temperature and grind size for hand drip? I still haven't gotten the hang of it, so I'd appreciate any advice!
