Has anyone here actually built something with AI lately? Any recommendations?
I've tinkered with things like ChatGPT and Midjourney, but it doesn't feel like I'm really putting them to good use. If anyone has actually made something or has tips for using them effectively, please share.

Agreed. I'm more on the side of using it as a tool rather than actually building something. Still, organizing work emails is what I find most practical.
I only use it for summaries and drafting. But if you write it carelessly, the output is sloppy as well. The tip is to give detailed instructions.
Well, not sure about that. Since the output is ultimately just a recombination of existing data, isn't it still quite limited where creativity or accurate information is needed? Just look at the trial reviews.
I run a small online store and I'm using it to auto-generate product descriptions. At first there was a lot to fix, but it follows the feedback you give it, so it's been working well.
Oh, I didn't know that. I'm already using an image generation model for blog thumbnails, and that helps too.
It's just for fun, really. I keep it by my side when writing code—it gives good answers when you ask, but you have to verify them yourself. With that in mind, it's convenient.
