Genshin 5.7 New Character's Performance Feels Completely Different
Since it's the new character's rate-up period, I only played for about 30 minutes a day, but the damage output is on a completely different level from previous characters.
In particular, the elemental reaction combos have become so much simpler that I can really feel the controls are easier. Before, you had to practice things like swap cancels, but now you just need to line up the skill order and the damage comes out.
It's a game with heavy monetization lol, but still, it seems worth saving up primogems every month and pulling even as a free-to-play player.

Yeah, I feel the same, it's really intense.
I pulled for them this time too and tried them out—the controls really got easier. Reminds me of practicing swap cancel back in the day lol. Even as F2P, if you steadily save up primogems, you can still get the base character.
Well, that's a bit much. Going by just the base character, I don't really see much of a difference from the older ones. Looking at pick rates, the Liyue boss-tier characters are still used a lot. It's true they're pushing people to spend, but isn't the perceived performance gap a bit exaggerated?
Have a source? Like a damage comparison chart or something?
