Isn't the YouTube algorithm kind of weird these days?

It used to recommend things well based on my interests, but lately, because of one video I accidentally clicked once, I've been flooded with nothing but similar stuff for a whole week.

I keep hitting "Not interested" but it doesn't do anything lol. Is deleting my history the only answer?
