Is it okay to start recurring ETF investments now?
I'm planning to invest 500,000 won a month for 10 years, but the index seems too high right now, so I can't figure out the right time to start. Should I just split my contributions and ease in?

True—the moment you start worrying about timing is when you lose the most. Just start.
Over 10 years, it doesn’t matter much whether the index is high or low right now. Set up a monthly auto-transfer of 50 and forget about it—that’s better for your mental health. I also started in 2018 while hearing “it’s too high,” and now I think that was the bottom. That said, if it’s money you’ll use in 10 years, fine—but if it’s funds you need within 3–5 years, reduce your ETF allocation.
Well, the judgment that "the index is high" is already an attempt to time the market... If you can't trust that yourself, then regular investing (dollar-cost averaging) is simply the answer.
