Mid-Year Check on My 3rd Year of DCA into ETFs
Since 2021, I've been putting 500,000 won each month into an S&P 500 ETF. The returns are quite good, so I feel happy.
At first, I was surprised by the volatility and considered selling, but I think it was good to keep going steadily. I'm experiencing the importance of diversification and long-term investing.

Congrats on your 3rd year at the startup. Good returns really boost your energy.
I've also been doing regular ETF investing since 2020. I wavered a bit because of Bitcoin in the middle, but eventually came back. The S&P500 really proves that consistency is key. You might also want to look into dividend reinvestment.
But isn't 500,000 won a bit too little? Also, since it's currently at a peak, the returns could take a significant hit if the market turns bearish. I believe that even for long-term investments, you need to account for volatility.
