My Acquaintance's Viral Marketing Ad Money Is Ridiculous

An acquaintance of mine runs a YouTube channel, and when I saw them showing off a screenshot of the ad money they received from someone else, I was dumbfounded. It's not like they get 1,000 to 3,000 won per ad click I make... It's stingier than I thought. Still, I guess it's not bad as a side gig.

Oh, but talking about this makes me feel like I'm bad-mouthing them, so I'll just let it go. I'll just endure it.

Lol, that's really the ad budget? Not like I'm jealous or anything.

But that rate might be per impression, not per click. CPM is usually $1–3, so 1,000 KRW per 1,000 views is actually pretty good. It varies by advertiser, but for viral content, that's pretty decent.

Well, I don't believe it. If you really received the money, why would you brag about it with a screenshot? They just want attention, I guess.

Not bad for a side hustle lol

The answer is to just ignore them. If you don't want to see your acquaintance getting badmouthed, just stay quiet.

People have different values, so that can happen. But if you try to pay attention to all of that, it just gets tiring, so it's better to let it slide. Just focus on your own work.
