Should I Open a Housing Subscription Savings Account Now, Even at This Point?

I'm an office worker in my early 30s and still haven't opened a housing subscription savings account. Everyone around me keeps talking about it, so I'm thinking of opening one now—am I too late?

I don't have plans to buy a home right away, but thinking a few years ahead, I feel it would be better to have one. I also hear that housing subscriptions aren't what they used to be, so I'm torn.

If you're in your early 30s, it's not too late. I built mine at 34, and that was last year lol. Just build it. It's a hundred times better than not building it.

Do you have a source? Where did you see that housing subscriptions aren’t what they used to be?

If you’re not planning to buy a home anytime soon, why bother? It’s not like 20,000 won a month is a big loss, but honestly, the expected value really isn’t what it used to be.

Well, that’s a bit... The saying that housing subscription isn’t what it used to be applies to genuine buyers without a home, and I wonder how much it really costs to open one account that you’d agonize over this. If 20,000 won feels like a waste, then go ahead and open it; otherwise, skip it.

I was in the same situation and worried about it, but I just went ahead and built it. It’s better than regretting it later. If you’re thinking a few years ahead, definitely build it. It doesn’t cost much and it’s easy to maintain.
