Please recommend an elementary math workbook
My child is in 4th grade, and we're not aiming for the top tier but want to strengthen the basics. Since they might lose interest if the workbook is too difficult, I'm looking for a textbook with easy concept explanations and lots of practice problems.

The Stepping Stone basic+application version is good, hehe
I'm also raising a 4th grader. We started with Solid Concepts and then moved on to the Guide to Problem Solving. It wasn't too difficult, and there were plenty of problems, so it was great for building a solid foundation. The answer key also has detailed explanations.
Well, wouldn't it be better to really nail down the textbook and workbook before jumping into problem books? Understanding the concepts matters more than working through several different problem sets...
The top student solution series is also good.
If you're looking for easy concept explanations, I recommend the Law of Solving Problem Types. The problems are broken down step by step, so my child didn't get bored. Just note that the problems are somewhat repetitive.
These days, reviews of elementary school workbooks are all pretty similar, so it's most accurate to go to the bookstore and see them in person before choosing. People's preferences vary a lot.
