Recent Review of AI Coding Assistants I've Tried

I've been using GitHub Copilot and Codeium for about a month now.

Copilot: Autocomplete is good, but it sometimes suggests irrelevant code, so verification is needed. The price is on the higher side.

Codeium: The free version is decent, and it performs well with Python. The interface is a bit inconvenient.

Both have their pros and cons, so it's best to choose based on your use case.

Agreed. Since Copilot is expensive, I'm using Codeium too.

Codeium for Python is really good. But I agree that the interface is inconvenient.

I've used both, but personally I found Copilot more convenient. The autocomplete quality feels a bit higher.

Well, I actually kinda liked Copilot's autocomplete? Of course, it does pull up some weird stuff sometimes lol

If it's free, Codeium is good, but the code suggestions are sometimes a bit vague, which is a shame.

Actually, after trying both, I think it ultimately comes down to how well the person uses them. Since AI isn’t perfect, verification is essential.
