Which do you use for coding, Claude or GPT?

I've been trying both lately, and Claude feels like it doesn't lose the context even when I throw a whole long file at it, while GPT is more convenient when I'm wiring things together for automation.

In the end, is it just a matter of preference?

In the end, it really is just a matter of preference lol. But I settled on Claude because when I have it refactor code, it's convenient that it explains why it made each change. GPT kind of just throws stuff out quickly, but sometimes that turns out to be inaccurate.
