Which is better for coding, ChatGPT or Claude?

I'm building a web app as a side project and trying both paid versions.

Claude seems to write cleaner code, but sometimes it hallucinates and uses libraries that don't exist, while ChatGPT is friendly in its explanations but the code feels a bit bloated.

I haven't been able to decide, so I'm switching between them every day lol. Do you all just pick one and stick with it?

To get straight to the point, it's better to pick one. I mainly use Claude and only ask ChatGPT when I'm stuck. Switching back and forth splits the project context across two places, which actually makes things more confusing.

Agreed, Claude writes clean code.

Isn't pulling in libraries that don't exist just because you gave a lazy prompt? If you include which packages you're using and what versions, that kind of nonsense drops off a lot. Seems like you shouldn't just blame the model.
