How Much Will You Actually Take Home from a Night Shift Part-Time Job at Coupang's Logistics Center?

I'm looking into a short-term night shift part-time job at a Coupang logistics center to kill time on the weekends and make some money.

Looking it up, I see people saying the hourly wage plus night shift allowance adds up to a decent amount, but there are also stories that once you actually do it, it's tighter than you'd think. If anyone here has tried it, I'd really appreciate it if you could share how much your actual monthly take-home pay was and what it was like physically.

Yeah, not bad for pocket money if you only do it on weekends.

I did it for 3 months before, and based on 3 nights a week, I took home about 170–180. However, it's really tough on your body, so expect to wash up and go straight to sleep as soon as it ends.

Well, that depends on the region. Hourly pay and night differentials vary by center, and if dispatch gets delayed, the waiting time gets longer, so actual working hours can differ.

For 8 hours each on weekend nights, I think I made about 400,000 to 450,000 won after taxes. Of course, if your work speed isn't up to par at first, it could be less, but once you get used to it, you earn a bit more.

Disagree. Night part-time jobs may look good in terms of hourly pay, but once you actually do it, it's more grueling than you'd think. After about three hours, your back and legs give out first, making the money completely meaningless.

This is right lol. If you drink and then go to work the next day, it's hell.

Warehouse work involves repetitive motions, so you need to watch your back. It's manageable if you only do it on weekends, but not recommended long-term. If you're working with bare hands, gloves are a must, and ankle supports are also good to have.

I'm also looking into a short-term night program, but seeing the comments makes me hesitate lol

I used to do weekend loading/unloading at Coupang in the Gyeonggi area. After taxes, I got 1.38 million won over a 4-week period. Sometimes on days with heavy parcel volume, the shift would run into early morning, but I could get overtime pay on top of that.
