Anyone tried Claude Code Assist?
I've been hearing developers say that Claude Code Assist is better than GitHub Copilot these days, so I have a quick question. Is anyone actually using it?
I vaguely understand it performs well on legacy code analysis, but I'm worried I might not adapt well since I've only been using Code Llama up to now. I'd really appreciate it if you could evaluate it mainly on IDE support, autocomplete speed, and accuracy.

Agreed. I switched too, and the difference in legacy analysis is real. If Code Llama feels like it just hands you the answer, Claude explains why it ended up that way.
Autocomplete speed still seems faster with Copilot, doesn't it? Accuracy is similar. But the IDE support is a bit lacking, so I'm going back.
Well, that's a bit... I tried it during the alpha test, but the autocomplete didn't match our team's code style, so I gave up. It might have improved with updates by now, though.

I'm in my third week using it, and honestly, the adjustment period was over in two days. In fact, since the shortcuts and interface are similar to what I used before, there was less confusion. The autocomplete is a bit slow, but the suggestion quality is high, so it ends up feeling faster overall.
