Totally regretting opening a Toss stock account
I really started with day trading and lost 700,000 won in a few days. I don't get why I even bother with stocks when they don't give any interest. Should've just stuck with a savings account — I got greedy for nothing lol. Ah, the regret is hitting hard.

Yeah, my first stock was day trading too. Lost 500 in 3 months and quit lol. Savings is the answer after all.
Well, that's a different opinion — stocks and savings accounts are different in nature, you know. It's your own fault for being greedy with day trading; you shouldn't blame stocks. Of course, 70,000 won is a lot of money, but think of it as paying tuition and next time you should study investing a bit. The problem isn't Toss; it's your strategy.
Oh, I actually started small long-term investing through Toss and it worked out fine. There are some people who just shouldn't be in stocks. You're just someone who isn't cut out for day trading. A savings account is a good choice too, so go with that.
Agreed. I don't get why people trade stocks. It's just a system where the big players make money and the little guys all get wiped out lol.
Let me share a story from my own experience. Back in the day, I lost about 1.5 million won in today's value, and it completely wrecked me mentally at the time. But looking back, that was the most valuable lesson of my life. I learned how important risk management is in life, more than just trying to make money from stocks. You think 700,000 won is a waste now? But this will prevent you from bigger losses down the road. Switching to a savings account was a good move, but rather than quitting stocks entirely, I'd recommend starting with a small amount and learning long-term investing along the way. Also, Toss's stock feature was revamped not too long ago, so it might be a bit inconvenient—consider comparing it with other brokerage apps.
