What should I do after Python?
I can handle syntax and simple web scraping, but I'm not sure what to do next. Should I go with web or data?

Just try building anything from start to finish, lol. If you only watch lectures, you'll feel even more overwhelmed.
I had the same concerns, but when I took what I was crawling, saved it to a DB, and put together a simple dashboard by myself, I found the data side more fun. With web, there’s so much to handle all the way down to the frontend, so it wasn’t for me. But this really varies from person to person, so you just have to try things one by one.
Well, isn't that a bit of a hasty call? If you're at the level of scraping a single page with requests, you probably don't even have a sense of what you're doing yet—whether it's web or data—so it's all the same whichever you pick. Build two or three projects all the way through, then come back and ask again.
Whether it's web or data, ultimately isn't the first question what you're going to build with it? If you're thinking about employment, looking at the market first is the right order.
I disagree—these days, the data side also requires a certain amount of web knowledge. I think it’s meaningless to think about the two as completely separate.
