I failed the second-round interview again
I passed the first round but got rejected in the second round three times in a row—does that mean the problem is me...? The atmosphere always seems to get weird in the executive interview. Ha.

Three times is no coincidence... Executive interviews look for completely different things than working-level ones. I heard they look at things like when you cut in and ask questions rather than what you say, and whether you get shaken by pressure questions. If the same types of questions kept coming up in the second round, try recording those and listening back. That's what I did, and I passed on my fourth try.
Well, if you've been rejected at the second round three times, executives often make up their minds right then and there. Don't beat yourself up too much—it might just be that you didn't mesh with the executives' style at that company. I feel like even if I'd gotten in, I wouldn't have lasted long, so I actually think it was for the best.
