5G vs LTE Speed Comparison: Can You Really Feel the Difference?
I'm thinking about switching from an MVNO to 5G. I mainly use YouTube and play games, and LTE seems pretty fast already.
Could you share your experiences on whether there's a significant speed difference in practice?

Agreed. I also use budget LTE and never found it frustrating except for YouTube 4K.
5G is definitely faster during peak times, but considering battery drain and data costs, I think LTE is sufficient.
When it comes to gaming, 5G is better. You can really feel the ping difference in games like League of Legends, lol.
But 5G coverage is actually narrower than I thought, so it often drops to LTE underground or inside buildings. Then does it even matter?
I used 5G for a year and then switched back to LTE. If you only use it for watching YouTube, is 5G really necessary? I didn't really notice a difference.
Source, please. Looking at benchmarks, 5G is 2-3 times faster for downloads, but in real-world use, it only makes a 1-2 second difference in loading times.

Disagree. If there are places where LTE reaches 300Mbps, there's not much difference from 5G. Don't fall for the carriers' marketing.
I'm using a budget 5G plan, and I switched because the price difference from the LTE plan was less than 5,000 won. I don't really notice a big difference in speed, but it's nice for game updates.
