ChatGPT Plus Payment Dilemma
I've been using the free version and am thinking about upgrading to Plus. $20 is a bit pricey, but many say GPT-4 is really useful. Are there any student discounts? I'm mainly looking for help with writing and coding. Could those who have used Plus share their reviews?

Agreed, I was also really hesitant, but after I went for it, no regrets lol.
I've been using it for two months now, and there's definitely a difference when coding. The free version cuts off mid-sentence due to prompt length limits... Plus is convenient because there's none of that. But since it's $20 per month, it might be burdensome for students. There's no official student discount, but occasionally promotions pop up. By the way, there are free weekly trials on the GPT store, so try that first.
Well... I'm just sticking with the free version and haven't really felt much inconvenience. For most writing or simple coding, 3.5 is sufficient, and I can just use 4 when I occasionally need it, right? $20 is basically a month's worth of coffee...
