I got sticker shock from my Claude API bill: how much are you all paying?

I built a chatbot as a toy project and got a few users,

and this month's bill is 180,000 KRW...

Input tokens are cheap, but output tokens are the scary part. Adding prompt caching did bring it down a bit, but it's still a burden.

I'm curious how much everyone else is paying and how you've reduced it.

Output tokens are genuinely terrifying... input is practically free, so why is output so expensive?
