Using GPT gives me a reality check, for real

I mean, GPT does all the coding for me, so I don't even know what I'm studying anymore. At this rate, isn't everything going to get replaced?

Agreed... I look at the code GPT wrote and think 'why didn't I know this?' and then I get hit with a reality check.

That's right lol but when an error actually happens, I ask GPT, then another error... and in the end I fix it myself lol

Still, there's a limit if you use it without knowing the concepts. Even just reading and trying to understand what GPT wrote is studying.

Well, that's a bit much. Even if GPT does all the coding, defining the problem and verifying the results is still up to a human. It's not about being replaced—it's about getting used to the tool.

Oh, I didn't know that. I'm a CS major, but these days I can't develop without GPT lol.

Same here. But I think getting GPT to do things is also a skill. Knowing what to ask is what matters.

Isn't that old news? Real experts don't just blindly trust GPT code—they verify everything as they use it. On the contrary, many say their skills improved even more thanks to GPT.
