How I Automated My Work Using GPT
I'd like to share how I introduced GPT-based automation after getting tired of repetitive tasks in my office job.
At first, I only used it for simple Q&A. But I soon realized that applying it to real work requires careful prompt design.
- Customer email triage: Input subject + body, and it generates priority levels and draft replies.
- Meeting minutes summary: Convert voice files to text, then summarize with GPT.
- Report drafts: Input metric data to generate an outline.
This saves me at least an hour a day. I use that time to focus on more important work.
The most important thing is privacy. I checked how much of our internal data could be used and established a no-upload rule. Used safely, it's incredibly efficient.

Agreed, using GPT to classify emails is awesome.
I've only been using it for meeting minutes summaries, but after seeing this, I should try having it write reports from today too.
Well, that's a bit... If the security team finds out we're putting internal data into GPT, they might go ballistic. It's not just a matter of checking for personal information—many companies are cautious about external uploads in the first place. Making a rule doesn't solve everything.
