Is it okay to get into an S&P 500 ETF now?
I'm planning to start dollar-cost averaging with 500,000 won a month, but I'm hesitant because now seems too high. People say that with dollar-cost averaging, timing doesn't matter—is that true?

The idea that timing doesn’t matter if you invest regularly is only half true. If you start at a peak, many people can’t emotionally handle being in the red for a while and end up giving up midway—that’s the real problem.

50 a month sounds just right, doesn’t it? If you split up your buy timing and set up automatic transfers, you won’t have to worry about it.

I agonized over it last year too and ultimately never got in, and it went up even more in the meantime... I guess the answer is just to invest mechanically.
